The right to protest is under threat. Across the world we’re seeing proactive measures being taken to silence, discredit, prosecute and drain the resources of activists.
In this Climate Funders Group session, we’ll be hearing from two campaigners as they reflect on the current operating context of activism.
After exploring the on-the-ground reality of climate protest, we will take time to consider what it takes to fund well in this space:
- What does good look like?
- What duty of care do funders have to protect and support activists and movements?
- Where and how can smaller funders partner with bigger funders to share resources and infrastructure to protect activists?
