Fundraising training 1: Digital fundraising during times of crisis: mistakes to avoid and opportunities to win

With Craig Linton, Bright Spot, and Rebecca Curtis-Moss, Friends of the Earth Scotland

Craig looks at what is currently working well in digital fundraising, and some common pitfalls to avoid. Rebecca shares her experiences from FoE Scotland, who are raising money successfully through digital channels.

By the end of the session you will:

  • Understand different types of digital campaigns and when to use them
  • Be able to avoid common mistakes that derail digital fundraising  and cost charities thousands of pounds
  • Learn from a real case-study from an environmental charity
  • Know how to use Facebook tools to help test ideas quickly and cheaply
