Andy Atkins, CEO of A Rocha UK, hosted a discussion around the intersection of faith, fundraising and the environment, and what UK churches are doing to support nature.

In this talk, Andy shared his personal experience of leading a Christian environmental charity following a varied career which included seven years leading Friends of the Earth. He offered tips on how to encourage charity Chief Executives to take an active, front-facing role in fundraising – something he himself once found daunting but now actively enjoys. The discussion also delved into the intersection of faith and environmentalism, highlighting successful fundraising campaigns that they’ve delivered, and offered practical examples of how faith communities are engaging in environmental stewardship.
