This year’s will be travelling from Aviemore to Inverness, focusing on the rich freshwater and marine/coastal habitats in the Cairngorms and along the Moray coast.
A taster of the itinerary
We will assemble in Aviemore and follow the River Spey downstream, visiting the river’s catchment areas, Cairngorms National Park, Spey Bay and the River Findhorn. Speakers from an array of brilliant organisations will join us to explain how they are protecting and conserving these beautiful landscapes, including Spey Catchment Initiative, Buglife, Cairngorms National Park Authority, The Scottish Dolphin Centre and Moray Ocean Community at Spey Bay, Findhorn Watershed Initiative and Findhorn Hinterland Trust.
These are some of the ‘best in class’ environmental initiatives that we know will both inspire and teach funders about Scottish conservation. These Scotland Field Trips also offer a unique and relaxed space to connect with your peers and learn from one another.

- We start at Aviemore and finish in Central Inverness. Both meeting points are near the main train station.
- Prices vary as you are able to join for the full two-day tour, day one only or day two only.
