Trustee vacancy

EFN is currently looking for up to two new trustees to join our engaged, insightful and strategic-minded board. (Role description here.)

We are seeking trustees who will bring new perspectives to the organisation, helping us rise to the challenges posed by the climate and nature crises. We know that EFN will be a more effective organisation with leaders who bring a variety of experiences to bear on our work. We are looking for at least one trustee representing a UK-focused grantmaking organisation to complement the current cohort.

Amongst the additional experiences we’re keen to benefit from are one or more of the following:

  • Particular lived experience of environmental harm and finding solutions to environmental issues
  • A strong understanding of the political contexts for environmental work
  • Strong knowledge of different environmental issues (specialised or generalised)
  • Asset management/investment and family office experience
  • Experience of working with large businesses, investors, politicians or other stakeholders that typically form the targets of environmental campaigns and advocacy
  • Experience implementing initiatives related to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion

Skillsets that would be particularly useful to the organisation are:

  • Personnel and HR
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Communications/PR

But we very much welcome applicants from all backgrounds and with varied skillsets, and look forward to hearing through the application form what you would bring to the work!

TO APPLY:
Answer the questions on this application form by midnight UK time on 30 April, as well as emailing your CV to emma@greenfunders.org. You can also contact Emma if you’d like to speak to EFN’s Director or any trustees about the role.
