Fundraising training 3: Telling stories to inspire action

With Rob Woods, Bright Spot, and Jennifer Few, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust

Rob shares techniques to help you bring to life the key issues that your supporters care about, so that you talk and write less about what your charity does, and more in ways that help supporters want to take action.

By the end of this session you will:

  • Understand tactics to improve your ability to find and tell powerful stories
  • Have gained ideas to help people want to take action
  • Understand the key mistake most charities make, and how to avoid it
  • Have explored an approach to identify and bring to life the most important messages in your campaign
