Come and explore Argyll’s incredible natural heritage at our third annual Scotland Field Trip open to all members. We’ll be visiting and learning about the rich biodiversity of Argyll’s coastal and marine environments, and its rainforests.

On day one, we’ll gather in Glasgow and head over the famous Rest and Be Thankful to the Craignish peninsula for lunch and our first project visit. Afterwards, we’ll travel to Oban and spend some time at the Scottish Association of Marine Science, where the Ocean is now a Trustee!

On day two, our first stop will be the oakwoods of Glen Creran, part of Scotland’s globally important rainforest (let’s hope it’s raining so we see it at its very best!). We’ll stop at further projects and have dinner at Cove Park – a unique residency for national and international artists, creative practitioners, researchers, and the local community – before returning to Glasgow.

A full programme with costs and booking information is coming soon via the members’ newsletter.
